Did you know that you can add your Tik Tok Videos to your WordPress website just by copying and pasting a link? That’s right Tik Tok videos now work like YouTube Videos in that you just need to copy the link of the video as it is playing in your browser then paste that link inside your post or page on a line by itself. When you hit publish the video widget shows the frame and plays the content. This is a great tool for us writers and even small businesses to share their marketing materials all over the web. Your customers/readers do not have to join Tik Tok or YouTube to view your movies.

It is very simple to join. You can download the app to your iPhone, iPad, computer, or Android smartphone. You can create videos on your phone to upload or on your computer. I will be posting more about the hows and whys in later posts. It is a great way to connect with your fellow writers around the world. You will be hearing a lot of discussions about the Tik Tok algorithm and how it matches those with similar interests. You will also hear that it is best that your own Tik Tok profile and videos be centered around one interests like writing and books. If you have other hobbies you will probably need to create another profile using another email. That part is kind of hard for me because I do enjoy DYI, Food Creations, Cosplay, RVing as well as my writers and books of all kinds. You will have to use the dreaded hashtags in the titles of your videos too.

Finally, you will be told to do videos using the music and themes that are trending to get lots of followers, comments, likes, shares, etc. You can go that way if you want but for now, I will be releasing one video a day or every other day about writing, publishing, and my favorites books and writers.
